What is a TikTok follower tracker?

The follower tracker keeps a daily record of public counts for accounts you choose. Sign in with a free account, add a username such as @khaby.lame or @mrbeast to your watchlist, and TokGlance saves one snapshot of that account's public counts each day. Over a week or a month you get a simple timeline instead of a single number you cannot put in context.

A single follower count tells you very little. Whether an account has grown, stalled, or shrunk only becomes clear when you compare numbers over time. The tracker does that comparison for you. It stores counts only, never your private activity, and it does not guess what the numbers mean. For the number right now, check the live count in the tool above, then use the watchlist to see how it changes.

The watchlist is in early access. It is free once you sign in and holds up to 3 accounts. One snapshot a day is the current rhythm, which is enough to show trends without turning every lookup into noise. We may widen these limits later, and we will say so here before we do.

How to use the watchlist

  1. Sign in with a free TokGlance account. Signing in is free and takes only an email address. Without an account you can still look up profiles, but the watchlist needs one so that your snapshots are saved to you.
  2. Look up a username in the tool above, then add it to your watchlist. In early access you can keep up to 3 accounts. Pick the accounts where growth matters to you most, such as your own, a partner, and a competitor.
  3. Come back any day to read the timeline. TokGlance records one snapshot a day for each account, so you can read the trend, compare accounts, and note the days when a number moved more than usual.

Who uses a daily tracker

Creators track their own account to see which videos lift growth and which weeks go flat. Social media managers track a client and two peers to build a simple benchmark for monthly reports. Brand teams track an influencer for the weeks before and after a campaign, comparing the numbers with what was promised.

Analysts and journalists use daily counts as evidence when looking into claims of rapid growth, because a record from before a story broke is more convincing than a memory. Fans and small business owners use the watchlist to follow a favorite account or a competitor without checking by hand every day.

For example, a creator manager can add @khaby.lame as a public benchmark alongside two accounts they manage. When reviewing a campaign involving @mrbeast, record the campaign dates separately and compare them with the daily count changes. Check the live count in the tool above for the latest total; the sample chart below is illustrative and does not report either creator's figures.

FAQ

How do I track a TikTok account's follower growth?

Sign in to a free TokGlance account, look up a public username, and add it to your watchlist. During early access you can keep up to 3 accounts with one count snapshot each day. History starts when collection begins; the tracker cannot invent earlier totals or retrieve days that were never recorded.

How can I spot fake followers or a sudden spike?

Compare a sudden follower increase with changes in likes, video count, and public content activity across several days. A jump without matching context deserves review, but it does not prove purchased followers. Viral coverage and platform adjustments can also change totals. Inspect the recent follower sample and document observations before making a claim.

Does TikTok show follower history?

A current public TikTok profile gives you today's available counts, not TokGlance's historical series. TikTok's own creator analytics may offer account owners additional reporting. Our tracker builds a separate daily record of public totals after an account joins the watchlist, so it cannot supply a history from before those snapshots began.

How often is the data updated?

The watchlist records one snapshot per account each day, rather than updating a chart every minute. Collection continues for free users who have signed in within the past 7 days. Data-source interruptions can leave gaps, which should stay visible. For a current profile total, use the lookup and check its returned timestamp.

Free to use

The watchlist is free once you sign in. In early access it holds up to 3 accounts and records one snapshot a day for each. Lookups also follow the daily limits: 5 per day when not signed in and 15 per day with a free account.

Paid plans are not on sale today. We may add plans later for larger watchlists, and this page will say so when that is decided.
